Our legal policies: Terms, Privacy and Posting Policy

Last updated July 4, 2026

QuoteHive has three public policy pages that govern how the site is used and how we handle your information. They apply to everyone — clients, contractors, and marketplace buyers and sellers.

The three documents

  • Terms of Use — the agreement you accept by using QuoteHive: how accounts, posting, bidding, credits and the marketplace work, and the limits of our role as an introduction platform.
  • Privacy Policy — what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights, in line with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
  • Posting Policy — the rules for what you may and may not list or post, including prohibited items and regulated items that need extra care.

Prohibited and regulated items

The Posting Policy sets out items that may never be listed (for example stolen, counterfeit, recalled or unsafe goods, weapons and other prohibited categories) and items that are regulated — allowed only when you meet the applicable legal requirements. Read it before you post a job or create a marketplace listing; content that breaks these rules can be removed.

You can reach all three pages any time from the site footer. If anything is unclear, contact support.
