Every job page shows its exact bid fee before you spend anything.
The Marketplace uses its own money system — separate from the job-bid credits above. Here’s how the two differ.
Used only on the contractor job board — one credit ≈ $4–5, spent to unlock documents and place a bid, priced by the project budget (see the table above). Nothing to do with buying or selling items.
A small prepaid balance in cents (not credits). Your first 10 auction bids are free; after that each bid costs 25¢. Buying, selling, making offers and messaging are always free.
The seller pays a small fee only when an item actually sells. Buyers never pay a sale fee.
