Posting Policy

1. Purpose

QuoteHive should stay a safe, honest and professional place to post jobs, bid, and buy or sell. This policy explains what you may post, what is prohibited or regulated, the quality standards we expect, our anti-fraud rules, and the consequences of breaking them. By posting content, you confirm it complies with this policy and all applicable laws.

2. General content rules

Everything you post must be truthful, lawful and your own (or posted with the necessary permission). You must not post content that is false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, violent, or that infringes anyone's privacy or rights. Post one job or listing per genuine subject: avoid duplicates, spam and attempts to manipulate ranking.

3. Prohibited items and services

You may not post or solicit, among other things:

• firearms, ammunition, explosives, prohibited weapons, or any work requiring their unlawful use;
• illegal drugs, controlled substances, or related paraphernalia;
• counterfeit, stolen, or unlawfully obtained items;
• sexual content, adult services, or the exploitation of any person;
• identity documents, payment-card data, or other people's personal information;
• work intended to break the law, defraud others, or defeat security (e.g. hacking, false invoicing);
• live animals, parts of protected species, or anything whose sale is prohibited by law.

4. Regulated items and work

Some work and items are allowed only where the law is followed and the applicable licences, permits, insurance and safety standards are in place. This includes, without limitation: electrical, plumbing, gas and HVAC work; structural and roofing work; asbestos, lead, mould and hazardous-material handling; installations requiring a municipal permit; and any regulated trade. You are responsible for obtaining permits and meeting applicable building codes.

5. Listing quality standards

• Post in the correct category and location, and describe the real scope of work.
• Use a clear, accurate title and description; do not mislead about price, brand, or condition.
• Use only photos you own or are allowed to use, showing the actual project or item.
• Set a realistic budget or price; fake, test or bait postings are not allowed.
• Do not share contact details or external links intended to bypass the Platform before a bid is accepted.

6. Fraud prevention and integrity

To protect everyone, you must not: create fake accounts, jobs, bids or reviews; inflate or rig prices or auction bids; use stolen payment methods or make abusive chargebacks; impersonate another person or business; misrepresent your licence, insurance or verification status; or attempt to circumvent credits, verification or the bidding process. Never request wire transfers, gift cards or off-platform payments from a user you do not know : this is a common fraud signal.

7. Intellectual property

Do not post content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights, and do not falsely imply affiliation with a brand. If you believe a posting infringes your rights, report it through the contact form with details; we will review and remove infringing content where appropriate.

8. Reporting and moderation

You can report a job, listing, message or review that appears to breach this policy using the built-in report tools or the contact form. We review reports and may remove content at our discretion. Moderation may combine automated checks and human review; we cannot guarantee that every posting is screened.

9. Consequences

Breaking this policy may lead to content removal, a warning, feature restrictions, loss of verified status, suspension or termination of your account, reversal of transactions, and, where appropriate, referral to the authorities. Credits spent on content removed for your own breach are not refunded; if we remove another user's job while your bids are open, affected credits are returned in accordance with our Terms.
