Sending photos and files in Marketplace chat

When you message a seller (or a buyer) about a Marketplace listing, you can attach a photo or file to your message — for example a close-up of a defect, a receipt, or a spec sheet. It works just like messaging a hired contractor.

How to attach

1. Open the conversation from your Marketplace Messages.
2. Use the attach control in the composer to pick one photo or file (you can add a short message with it).
3. Send — the other person sees the image inline or can open the file.

Privacy

Attachments are private to the two people in the conversation (plus QuoteHive staff, for safety and moderation). Nobody else can open them. As always, be cautious about sharing sensitive personal documents, and keep the conversation on QuoteHive so our team has context if anything goes wrong.
