Reporting abuse or a problem

If something in a conversation is off — spam, harassment, a scam attempt — report it directly from the thread. You can report a single message or the whole conversation.

How reports work

1. Choose a reason: Spam, Harassment, Inappropriate, Scam or Other, plus an optional note.
2. The report goes straight to QuoteHive staff — it lands in the moderation queue and alerts the team by email.
3. Staff can read the reported thread for context, review, and act on the account if needed.

Staying safe on any marketplace

• Keep the conversation on QuoteHive until you’ve hired — it gives our team context if anything goes wrong.
• Never pay large amounts up front; tie payments to milestones in a written contract.
• Confirm insurance and licensing directly with the contractor. We verify documents at signup, but your own diligence protects you.
