Category-specific filters (item specifics)

Each Marketplace category carries its own item-specific filters on top of the general ones — so browsing Vehicles & Trailers lets you filter the way a car site would, while Tools give you the filters that matter for tools. You’ll find them in the All Filters drawer on a category page.

What each category adds

• Vehicles & Trailers — Make, Year, Kilometres, Fuel and Colour.
• Tools & Equipment — Brand and Power source.
• Building Materials — Material type.
• Home & Garden — Type and Colour.
• Services — Service type and Availability.
• Surplus & Liquidation — Lot type.

These sit alongside the general filters everyone gets — Mode, Price, Condition and Province — so you can combine them freely (for example, a used diesel truck under $30,000 in Ontario).

Using them

1. Open a category page and tap All Filters — a side panel on a computer, a bottom sheet on your phone.
2. The extra fields for that category appear automatically; set any you care about.
3. The View N results button updates live, then applies your choices. Clear filters resets everything.
